The LOTRO game servers will be brought down on Wednesday, October 24 from 6:00AM - 12:00PM EDT (-5 GMT) for an update to Book 11: Defenders of Eriador. Roheryn will remain up and available. For an overview of changes, click here! For the full release notes, click here!

I would recommend picking up the pre-patch client if you haven't already. It is a big patch and you want to be able to go house shopping early!
