World Of Warcraft: 2.3 PTR Updated!

| 23 Oct 2007 21:32

The 2.3 PTR was updated yesterday (the new notes can be found here, which haven't been updated yet but hopefully will be soon) and there are a few big changes in this latest push that will excite some players and send others into a frothing mouthed rampage:

- Cheat Death (Subtlety) chance to trigger increased to 33/66/100% and now also causes the rogue to take 90% less damage for 3 seconds when the effect triggers. This effect cannot occur more than once per minute.
- Racial weapon bonuses have been changed to 1% crit across the board (humans, dwarves, trolls, and orcs).
- Shapeshifting, Shadow Form, and Stealth have all been changed to kick you out of your current form if you use an ability that can't be used in your current state. This allows you to shift and cast in a single action but can be disabled with /console autoUnshift 0.
- Aimed Shot (Marksmanship) now reduces healing done to that target by 50% for 10 seconds.

The good folks at World of Raids have compiled the changes along with the currently posted patch notes.

Along with this, Niko on the World of Raids forums has a post up detailing the new guild banks which look to be an exciting new way to clear up some unneeded character selection screen clutter.
