Warhammer Online: New Interview With Missy Hatch

| 29 Oct 2007 16:43

Community Coordinator Missy Hatch recently did an interview for Warhammer Conflict. She talks a bit about her experience with the Warhammer community.

Warhammer Conflict:
The community has seen how hard the Community Coordinators have worked during the last several months. I'm certain that there will be even more for you to do as the weeks and months pass. How will your job as Community Coordinators change once Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is released?

Missy Hatch:
First of all, thank you for recognizing the hard work we do. Community work can be stressful at times, but when the players and fans recognize it, it really means a lot. Right now it seems like there are two separate communities we're working with: the beta community and the non-beta community. This is tricky because we are constantly on the lookout for players breaking the NDA. In addition to that, we're helping to coordinate beta invitations and working internally with issues players are having perhaps with getting their beta logins to work and things like that. We have quite a lot of tasks right now. I would say that when the game launches we won't have as much to worry about, but that's not really true. A live game is in some ways a totally different beast, and in other ways exactly the same. We won't have the burden of watching out for NDA breaks, or the responsibility of helping out our beta participants. Instead, we'll be working to keep everyone informed of game news, and watching out for issues, bugs, and other trends as reported by our players. We'll run contests and events and all kinds of other fun things. It'll be great!
