Pirates of the Caribbean Online launches tonight at midnight, just in time for Halloween. The teen-skewed MMOG is in development at Disney's VR Studios and had recently been in Beta testing after it missed its original summer launch target.

The game offers players the chance to experience the world inspired by the theme park ride and movies in an online environment and comes from the developers of Toontown Online. As we learned at AGDC, since Bob Iger replaced Michael Eisner as the CEO of Disney, they have put a greater emphasis on the Internet and this promises to be the first of many Disney related online projects.
