Neverwinter Nights 2: NWN 2: MotB Review at Jolt

Jolt Network has posted a nice 8.6/10.00 review of Mask of the Betrayer. Highlighting the excellent storyline, the reviewer said:

Neverwinter Nights 2 certainly built upon all that had been learned from previous releases, but once again it has taken an expansion pack to truly exploit the potential that the Aurora engine offers. Though some token new classes such as Red Wizards and Spirit Shamans, as well as the option of playing planetouched humanoids add an element of novelty and replayability to the game as a whole, Mask of the Betrayer focuses mainly on providing a really enjoyable new adventure.

In summary:

By tackling the epic levels of Dungeons & Dragons, Mask of the Betrayer has a lot to offer both as an adventure and as an upgrade to the existing game. At this level you can truly customise your character and the strategic options are much more numerous, as are the feats and treasures you'll acquire. Even if you don't have an appreciation for the finer points of Dungeons & Dragons strategy, the 3rd person gameplay mode offers a much more accessible experience and if anything the party AI's slight shortcomings should provide you with more of a challenge.

The main sticking point seems to be the mainstream appeal for players not necessarily well-versed in D&D. Take that for what it's worth and head over to read the entire article.
