Neverwinter Nights 2: NWN 2: MotB Review at RPG Dot

RPGDot.com has posted the latest review of Mask of the Betrayer. Scoring MotB a very respectable 8.6/10.00, the reviewer said:

One thing that we really liked about this adventure is that it penalises you - sometimes quite heavily - for resting more than once per day, so if you've gotten into the habit of resting every five minutes to heal up or refresh spells, you'd better think again. By forcing you to think carefully about what spells you want to memorise and ration your resources, Mask of the Betrayer captures the core concept of realistic adventuring in Dungeons & Dragons much better than previous attempts have managed.

The bottom line according to RPG Dot is:

By tackling the epic levels of Dungeons & Dragons, Mask of the Betrayer has a lot to offer both as an adventure and as an upgrade to the existing game. At this level you can truly customise your character and the strategic options are much more numerous, as are the feats and treasures you'll acquire. Even if you don't have an appreciation for the finer points of Dungeons & Dragons strategy, the 3rd person gameplay mode offers a much more accessible experience and if anything the party AI's slight shortcomings should provide you with more of a challenge.
