Final Fantasy: "Wings of the Goddess" Version Update

Just as it happened before the launch of the past expansions, there will be a short version update made to FFXI in order to prepare it for the release of its next expansion Wings of the Goddess. Here's the info.

On Nov. 20, 2007, the FINAL FANTASY XI: Wings of the Goddess expansion disc will be shipped.

Due to the number of new features included in this expansion, an update of the game will be required for all players (even those who have not installed the expansion). This preparatory version update for the FINAL FANTASY XI: Wings of the Goddess expansion disc will be performed on Nov. 5th, 2007.

FINAL FANTASY XI gameplay will not be interrupted during this update as there will be no server maintenance conducted at this time.

Also, another additional preparatory version update is scheduled to be performed on Nov. 12, 2007. Details on this version update will be announced in the "Information" section.
