The online resource website Howstuffworks has published their own World of Warcraft: A Beginner's Guide. The guide does a very good job at covering an array of basic topics, like etiquette, solo vs group play, and battlegrounds, all meant to help new players start their adventures in Azeroth with some much needed information.
