Star Wars Galaxies: New review on RPGVault

| 29 Jul 2003 10:47

RPGVault published a new review of the game. Here is a clip:

The overall graphics in Star Wars Galaxies are outstanding. Each of the 10 gigantic planets offers a unique visual experience ranging from the dense tropical forests of Naboo to the dry, windswept deserts of Tattooine. The diverse environments are richly detailed, with realistic vegetation, gorgeous water effects and subtle animations like falling leaves and swarming insects. The cities are impressive in size since they are constructed to match the scale of the characters. The architecture is universally attractive, although invisible walls exist in some areas. The character and creature models are as finely crafted as their surroundings, and exhibit extremely fluid animations. All the items, creatures, races and locales from this time period in the Star Wars universe are all authentically replicated. The precise look of the red blaster fire in combat is just one example that could come straight from the movies.
