Where in the real life world do you live? I live in Sin City, better known as Las Vegas, Nevada.
How long have you played Star Wars Galaxies? I've been playing since December of 2003.
What other MMOs have you played? I played the betas of Lord of the Rings Online, Pirates of the Caribbean, Pirates of the Burning Sea, and Tabula Rasa. I have also played The Sims Online and EVE Online.
What type of work do you do? I am a freelance writer and I run a charitable Pro Wrestling organization.
How long is your typical gaming session when playing Star Wars Galaxies? Depends, but generally at least 2 hours.
What does a typical Star Wars Galaxies day consist of for you? Training various Pets (need to get to 90 you know), chatting with friends, and crafting with my alternate character to have things to sell!
What was the race and profession of your very first character? My first character is also my current one. He is a human who started as a TKM/Weaponsmith, and evolved into a Jedi after many professions during the hologrind.
What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most? Seeing as I am pretty dang old - I have to say that getting trained in Apple Basic in school and creating simple games with it AGES ago got me started (Think BBS and games like Trade Wars). I tend to prefer strategy type games mostly, but foray into just about every genre now and again.
What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other then playing Star Wars Galaxies? Running JCPW for charity is one of my passions. Aside from that - hey, I live in Vegas - slot machines can be your friend!
What is your highest character level in Star Wars Galaxies? All my characters on Radiant are CL 90. On TC Prime however, I am not rushing to get "done", and have only attained CL 56.
What race and profession is your main character? Phael'yn is still a human Jedi - who also happens to have a full 45 points in Beast Master expertise!
What do you like the most about the profession you have chosen for your main character? Creature Handler was one of my favorite pre-NGE professions, so Beast Master was a natural. However, I like that as a Jedi, I can "get into the thick of it" with my pets and have a partner.
What faction is your main character? Actually with the advent of the NGE, Phael'yn abandoned his post with the Empire, and joined the Rebellion after feeling a great disturbance in the Force. Well, that and I always picture Jedi as the "good guys."
What is your favorite player owned ship? Hands down the M22-T Krayt. It just suits me to a tee.
What is your favorite ground vehicle? The AV-21.
How did you choose your main character's name? Long story short, it was a name I've used ever since the days of D&D played with friends around a table. Phael'yn is a play on the word "failing", because the D&D character wasn't very lucky, and always was, you guessed it, failing his rolls. Maxlord is a combination of the first and last names of a DC Comics character - Maxwell Lord.
Which current professions in Star Wars Galaxies have you NOT played? I've played them all, but medic is the one I have played the least.
What is your favorite expansion? I have to say Jump to Lightspeed. Space is one of the more fun things that has been consistent in the game. (Man, am I looking forward to Chapter 8!!)
What is your favorite planet? Dantooine - they're on Dantooine...
What is your favorite NPC? The Emperor hologram. Ever since we started to see his boxers, I go in just to look and laugh!
Which expansion do you like the least? Trials of Obi-Wan. Not because it wasn't a good expansion, but for all the controversy surrounding it to this day.
Which planet do you like the least? Lok. It just serves very little purpose for me.
Which NPC do you like the least? The Old Man. Dang guy, he never calls, never writes... Sheesh.
What is the most credits you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters? I'm notoriously cheap - the most I ever spent was 40 million for a beast.
Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it? The first Vibro Knuckler I made as a Weaponsmith. It serves as a reminder for the days of TKM, and is a glimmer of hope for the future of a great profession!
What do you like best about Star Wars Galaxies? The beauty of the "little" things that people take for granted. Things like the reflection of the surroundings are on the back of a protocol droid's skull - amazing.
What do you get out of playing Star Wars Galaxies? Fun - can there be a better reason?
Describe your best experience playing Star Wars Galaxies. Had to be back in the days before the Village. Having to be secretive about being Force Sensitive and trying to train to become a Jedi was just intense back then.
