Star Wars Galaxies: Official Cancelled Character Policy

Q-3PO on deleting characters:

When a user's account is cancelled, we do not automatically purge his/her characters. They will generally be stored in our database until there is a need to remove them in order to free up space for other players. Although typically inactive characters may be stored for months or longer, we make no guarantees.
