As expected by the Froobs community, Funcom made an announcement renewing the limited free access for Anarchy Online for yet another year:

We're happy to announce that due to the steady growth and outstanding contribution of our free players to the community, we're extending the free play program for another year.

We'll also continue supporting the froob players with improved content and some nice treats throughout the year, and we'd like to thank you all for making this program a resounding success.

Funcom seems set to continue this trend for many years to come!
