With the new zone Shard of Fear we can travel into a little part of the Plane of Fear, will it be possible for other planes?
Shards have yet to be fully explained to players. Here is a bit of information about that:
"The planar realms are often astronomically violent. Such instability would be expected of the origins of the universal powers. Any violent planar act has the power to cause extraordinary results. The shards are one of these extraordinary results. Shards are fragments removed from one of the planar realms. In most cases, but not all, they are created by astronomical cataclysms. Such titanic upheavals create rifts in the planes. These fractures begin to spread and eventually extract a chunk of the plane, depositing it into a pocket plane created at the instance of separation. These shards exist outside of normal planar realms and along the borders of mortal realms."
There is much more to them, but this gives you an idea of what they are. I cannot tell you what to expect, but there are other shards in existence.
It's a nice long interview and well worth the time to read.
