The savvy WCoD user may have noticed a little change over on our navigation bar earlier today. For those of you who missed it it looks something like this:

You might be saying to yourself, "Self..." (for what does one really call themselves anyway...) "...what happened there?". I mean after all the Library is so low on our nav-bar that people probably hardly even notice its there. I mean the only stuff lower is...oh...waitaminute...Kwip is lower...I guess thats okay. Well I digress...but hey the boss lady said talk it up, and well...I the best at the digress.
It kind of goes like this, thoughout my life many people have noticed many things about me (yes Optim, other than me being a short, fat, know-it-all). One of them is apparently that I have "Makes Great Guinea Pig" stamped on my forehead. Yes like Mikey I am often asked to try out new things.
So we had this older, but great looking downloads section that Zyrca had more or less designed before her moving onto greater things (boss lady stop crying over it already). And so I get asked if I want to update the downloads page since some of its info is out of date. I say sure, but I ask if we can script it to make link management smoother, and the boss lady tells me the coders are too tied up. And we both let it drop.
Well to make a long story short (too late) it turns out one of our code monkeys (for some reason I want to say Nevir, but appologies if I'm wrong) was working on, and finished a link manager. And it was ready to go. And because I have that stamp on my forehead, I became a Guniea Pig for it.
And well...I'm a slow slog. And the boss lady (whirlwind that she is) whipped off two links sections which she's already told you about, but I'll mention again: WCoD Links and ACPL 2003. So you've already seen the new link manager in action, and probably didn't know it.
So after quite painless effort (because the new link manager is an amazingly powerful and easy to use tool), I created not one but two downloads secions. The first takes you to a page called:
Downloads - Utilities and More
and is reachable via the Third Party Utilites link on the nav bar. The second is a download page dedicated solely to Decal Plugins:
which can be reached from the Downloads - Utilities and More page under Decal by selecting Decal Plugins.
In my initial pass at these two pages I have tried to get as many third party utlities and plugins entered as I could muster to make the pages useful out the door. I tried very hard not to leave anyone out, and appologize if I did.
However, if you feel you've been left out you now have recourse. Yes that's right each page has a link to make submissions on it. So if you can't find your favorite app or plugin all you have to do is submit it. And I'll see it (I'll check a few times each week), and get it added as soon as I can.
So go out there and start downloading!!!
