Warhammer 40,000 MMO Details Emerging

Computer & Video Games, citing an upcoming article in the UK version of PC Gamer magazine, has revealed several details from the upcoming MMO being developed around the Warhammer 40,000 franchise:

• In-depth combat system where players utilize the environment and strategy tactics against opponents
• Large scale firefights
• Players can form squads
• Familiar races to be included...and unique within the world
• Characters to look genuinely unique
• Mysteriously worded "battlegrounds will take on a whole new meaning"
• Players, in addition to the 'normal' areas to explore, will also have the opportunity to check out 'hulking masses in space'
