Pirates of the Burning Sea servers will undergo regular maintenance on a weekly basis at least in the short haul. Check out the downtimes:

In order to mitigate a couple issues with our servers that have been manifesting over long periods of up-time, we will begin restarting all of our clusters twice weekly.

Our North American and European servers will now see regular maintenance periods beginning at 1:30a every Tuesday and Friday, Pacific Time (8:30a, GMT).

We will be making an announcement for our Australian customers on the Invincible server shortly.

The restarts may be moved a bit to accommodate Port Battles in progress - we will keep you informed via the Announcements Forum and in game if there are changes. Each restart is expected to last less than 20 minutes.

We anticipate this being a temporary measure, and we apologize for the inconvenience. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to remedy this issue.

In some ways, it's nice to know when the servers will be down so that plans can be made accordingly.
