Star Wars Galaxies: Explanation for todays instability on Lowca

Blair stopped by the forums today to to explain the instabiltity with Lowca today.

As many of you know, we manually reset the resources on Lowca Friday morning. Doing this exposed an assumption we were making about resource data in general.

We corrected this assumption this morning to prevent this case from occurring in the future. Unfortunately one of the side effects is we had to re-generate some resources. Many of you will be fine, but the data on few resources was bad and had to be removed.

Our apologies for the server instability this morning and for the forced resource shift for those that were affected. You should see greatly improved server stability as of about 10:30 PDT.

Well, atleast the dev's gave us an explanation for the downtime. As a member of the starsider server, I feel your pain Lowcaians.
