After a few minutes of tense guard, with the wailing noise reverberating in my ears and increasing pain in the back of my head, a C6 Manta came into my radar range and made a beeline for my POS. The Cornea sector itself at that point contained a Noob and a freighter, both easy picking for a vicious sentient.
I warned the Sentient to Stay away from TRI space in general and my POS in particular. Needless to say the Sentient ignored my warnings, what appeared to be an insight style beam was projected from the Sentient on approach to the POS.
I gave it a volley of fire, as a warning and again reiterated that it should leave TRI space. The flux then seemed to take notice and proceeded to deep space very fast. I indicated to the freighter pilot that it was now safe to dock, the noob seemed to have left the sector.
Then the flux returned. I re-engaged. Ranger equipped BLACKDOGG of squad Flux-Huggers appeared in the sector, the timing of which appears a little coincidental.
He requested that I disengage from the flux, but by this time my shields were beginning to be brought down by flux twin projectile weapons.
I received a MISSILE WARNING. Because of recent events I scanned the sector for more flux and to my surprise I had stiletto missiles closing in, fired by BLACKDOGG, 1 impacted taking my already damaged shields down to 33%. I evaded on AB until the second Stiletto ran out of fuel.
I then told BLACKDOGG that he had until I refueled, to do what he wanted with the flux, he at that time was being chased by one of Cornea's defense droids due to the bounty placed on him, his Flux "Friend" in tow.
I launched, no FF but fully fueled against the Sentient, with the bountied Hugger in the sector.
In the long battle that followed, with BOTH the Sentient AND the Hugger, each firing then getting outside my weapons range, with what felt like co-ordinated, dare I say practiced skill. Hugger and Flux working together.
After along long time at 36% armor I got lucky, I vented the sentients hide and destroyed it.
We were at this point very much in deep space, I flew back to Cornea and requested that Blackdogg dock to clear his bounty and repair, he opened fire again. I retaliated. He left cornea in a POD.
I did NOT want to down the TRI vessel, but the Huggers have been warned against coming between me and the flux.
To all calls for WAR, I say I am not a politician, I kill flux, its what I do, any political status changes need to be discussed through proper channels.
