Asherons Call: No Luck for Turbine at 3DO Auction

As some of you may remember, we've been covering the sale of the bankrupt 3DO's assetts. Why have we been doing this? We've been doing this since it was announced that Turbine Entertainment (makers of that game called "Asheron's Call"...you may have heard of it) were bidding on several of their properties. It doesn't look like we'll be seeing an "Army Men Worlds" MMOG anytime soon.

Well, it turns out Turbine didn't win. No word yet on how the biddy was done, but it's my guess that they were sniped EBay style, just like I was when I was bidding on that Dual-Major Ring and was outbid with about 1 minute to go.
