Fallen Earth's Associate Project Manager, Dave Haydysch, reported back from their recent Virtual Worlds event in LA, with media and visitors reactions and a promise to deliver more "from the road" reports in the near future. Here's what Dave posted on the official forums:
Hey everyone-
I just wanted to introduce myself to the community. I am Dave (aka. Archangel), Associate Project Manager for Fallen Earth. We thought it would be great to let you know what is going on with Fallen Earth by providing onsite updates to our community from different members of the FE team while at the shows that we are attending. This will be the first in the series.
On September 3-4, 2008, I was at the Virtual Worlds LA show. I am very excited to report that the response to FE was outstanding! Not only did we get to show FE to some of our long time fans but we were able to show it off to the press and media, introducing it to some folks for the first time. The booth was bustling with people flowing in and checking out FE. After two days at the show, I have heard great comments on FE. We showcased two towns (Zanesville and North Burb), as well as CHOTA and Enforcer armor and clothing sets. The Crafting, FPS to third person, and the skill-based aspect were just a few of the features that were big hits. This was an awesome show and the team had a great time showing the FE demo to the crowd. The next show is AGDC. We are very excited and looking forward coming to Austin. Lee and Colin will be there at booth 316 which is our two story booth with nine plasmas!!
Check them out if you get the chance and be looking for the next report coming soon!
Until then,
Dave - aka. Archangel
