ATLANTA, Georgia - September 24, 2008 - Hi-Rez Studios, an independent developer of online entertainment, in a campaign to raise money to help find a cure for cancer, announced today the first public preview of its massive multiplayer online game, Global Agenda, at an all-day event benefiting The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, whose goal is to cure blood cancer and improve the quality of life for its patients.
Mission: Pwning for a Cure will be held at Computer ArenA in Roswell, Georgia on Saturday, November 8th from 12-5pm. The event, co-sponsored by the Georgia Department of Economic Development's Film, Music & Digital Entertainment Office, will include hours of Global Agenda matches, game development seminars, a silent auction, raffles, prizes, music, and food. Hi-Rez Studios will also provide attendees with the unique opportunity to register for the invitation-only At-Home Alpha Testing Program and join the Global Agenda community.

Computer Arena, the Southeast's largest gaming facility, offers more than 50 PC and console LAN gaming stations, computer education classrooms, sales and services, and the Good Times Café.
The event will conclude with an all-star battle between the day's top scorers and a team of Hi Rez employees. Test your skills against the developers themselves!
All-access admission into the event is free to the public. Donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society are encouraged and greatly appreciated.
