LOTRO: Australia/NZ Distribution Problems

Turbine announced today that their distribution partner down under is having "logisitical" issues.

I'd like to start by thanking our Oceanic players for their interest in the upcoming Mines of Moria release. Unfortunately, our distributor for the Australia and New Zealand territories has encountered logistical issues and will not be able to provide the physical versions of the Complete Edition or Collector's edition in time for launch. We are currently exploring every option to bring the game to you, but we will not have launch day distribution in your country.

Existing subscribers may continue to use the early upgrade option at https://myaccount.turbine.com to digitally update the game for Moria. Additionally, on launch day we will be providing a special digital download edition exclusively for Oceanic players that includes all of the same in-game benefits as the North American Pre-order + Compete Edition Retail combination at a special price. This Oceanic Digital edition will be available on our e-store at store.turbine.com by 11/18/2008.

We're aware that the digital upgrade and patch may be problematic for users with download caps. Unfortunately, due to the distribution issues our partners are experiencing, we cannot provide a disk-based option at launch.
