Jumpgate Evolution: US-New conflux phenomenon discovered?

Pilot Antikas of the Eternal Legacy has filed a report on some off Conflux sightings around The Dark. According to the report:

During our regular operations yesterday, 103.8.28 several of our pilots met encountered strange conflux 'phenomena'.

While flying thru The Dark, pilot Kornileus encountered a C3 and C4 drone. While engaged with these flux he reported 4 silver orbs, seeming to appear out of no where. The orbs began firing on him with what looked to be conflux energy weapons. The entities did not appear on radar, and were not targetable.

Pilots Mordikar and =Bane= plotted intercept courses to further investigate the phenomenon. Unfortunately by the time of their arrival the orbs had disappeared. Attempts to track them through adjacent sectors failed.

Later the same evening, during a routine recon mission into conflux space my wingman Scatter encountered them upon jumping into Aman Leap. Note he was employing antiflux at the time. The orbs seemed to hover about his vessel, firing the same pink energy discharges Kornileus described.
