Star Wars Galaxies: Obi-wan! Where?!?

Shug_Ninx dropped by the forums today, clearing up some confusion on Obi-Wan-Kenobi

This week, we sent out a press release about Star Wars Galaxies, specifically focusing on the number of users. In that release, we mentioned that players can interact with characters from the films, including Luke and Obi-Wan. This has raised some questions about whether these two characters are actually in the game.

Luke is in the game. We're not saying where, but he's around.

Obi-Wan is not in the game (yet...). He's dead during this time period, so it didn't make sense to include him as a "normal" NPC. We have considered other ways to integrate Obi-Wan into the game, however (in his ghostly form, obviously), but have not yet implemented anything.

Anyway, sorry for getting anyone's hopes up about encountering old Ben. This is totally my fault - I didn't catch the mention of Obi-Wan when I reviewed the release.
