Jumpgate Evolution: US-Unfortunate CP news

Folks, I wanted to give you the straight stuff on this from development, lest it become another storm about how RP has become unfair to the players.

I advised Themis about mid-week that the problems with the biomass CP that were preventing us from placing a working one in the game were corrected. I tested the CP several times myself to reach this conclusion. We hustled to adjust the Amananth Faction Mission, and I placed an appropriate CP into the game after the mission completed.

I then went online to triumphantly use the CP in the live server, and it did not work properly after all.

I am very embarrassed and I personally apologize about this to everyone. The good news is that, after some fiddling, I can reproduce the error condition in my test environment and will trace it down.

However, for congruity, I asked Themis for permission during the day Friday to "damage" the CP so that the problem isn't directly accessible by players. The stories and KTRI messages about the small raid on the CP at the end of construction are my doing, because, to my shame, the thing didn't work right and I deemed this was a reasonable and quick way to handle the difficulty within the game's story while also preventing any pilot from being hosed by the cargo bug that results from the problem with the biomass CP.

That's why there was a minor conflux raid during non-prime time hours, and that's why the darn biomass CP that we want in the game is not available, again.
