Yesterday ,two young pilots of the Solrain Commonwealth were quite astonished when a fighter class ship passed their ships in the station sector.

The fighter class ship, an Intensity,was flying a lot faster than the usual ship of that class. The pilots said, their senosrs reported a speed of over 500 m /s.
Such speed is usually only reached by ships of the scout or ranger class.

According to the deck-officer on duty an Intensity usually goes only as fast as 451 m/s with the usual optimal TRI equipment mounted.

The ship was obviously upgraded somehow.

This strage ship also disappeared sooner than normal ships from the radar screens of the station.

"It must have been using a quite strong ECM", said the deck-officer but didn't want to tell us how strong in comparisson to the usual ECMs.

However,one of the two young pilots said it disappeared at a distance of approximately 11000m from his radar whereas normal ships are detectable up to 16000 m without any problem.
