Kotaku.com reported on a new City of Heroes expansion, titled "Going Rogue", that was prematurely posted as a press release on marketing firm StreetWise's website.
Kotaku managed to get a peek at the press release and found the following juicy facts: "Going Rogue" will be set in Praetoria, "a utopian mirror to our own world, in which the same characters exist, just in...different ways." This expansion will also feature a new alignment system "that explores the shades of gray that lie between Heroes and Villains" where heroes can turn into villains, and vice versa.
NCsoft's new offering will definitely tighten up the Hero MMO market and extend City of Heroes' lifetime, but will it stand up to its new opponents Champions Online and DC Universe?
