Important message if you have old unclaimed Zone names

Zone.com is spring cleaning!

To speed up our site and provide a better service for everyone, we will be recycling our inactive Zone names. Only those Zone names (not .NET Passport nicknames) that have been totally inactive for six months or more will be affected.

Recycling inactive Zone names will free up thousands of names that would otherwise remain unused. This cleanup may give you a chance to nab that special Zone name you always wanted.

We are sending out this message to all Zoners, past and present. If you are currently playing on the Zone, don't worry -- you won't notice any changes. If you still have an old Zone name you would like to keep, we encourage you to visit the Zone name Recycling FAQ page for details of how to retain it.
