Jumpgate Evolution: US-And the Gold arrived safely...

Just pulled off the Hyperweb, it looks like squad =StormRaiders= was able to successfully move a convoy of gold against Synergy. Here is the release from their leader.

Last nite the =StormRaiders= had a little convoy of Gold in sol space which was intercepted by Synergy ships. As fast as we could we arranged for a rescue operation and escort to allow the transports to reach destination and complete the mission.

Being that there were few pilots online, we were only able to scramble 2 fighters to protect the convoy, being myself the latest to arrive (almost when was over). Captain Tazor of the =StormRaiders= showed up in Wake to assist pilots Maven and Odiche, which were in tow and freighter respectively. Synergy had deployed around 5 ships in the area making the task harder.

Even with the odds against us, our pilots launched and dispatched some of the Synergy ships in Wake and Purian Lake sector. Captain Tazor got 3 kills and Pilot Maven was able to kill a pilot with a Nuke (This is unconfirmed yet) while heading deep space with no fuel left on his tow.

When I arrived to the scene, there was pilot TexMurphy being chased by 4 Solicidal pilots and 2 Brotherhood pilots who were also seen in the area. Thanks to their help, we were able to protect the Gold, which was delivered to the intended destination, and the transport ship were escorted safely out.
