Galactic Call To Arms Fan Art Contest Celebrates Six Years of SWG!

WHAT:
To celebrate the six-year anniversary of Star Wars Galaxies™, Sony Online Entertainment has announced the "Galactic Call to Arms Fan Art" Contest. Fans and budding artists are encouraged to submit their creations -- either originals or based off of screen shots -- which they feel best depict preparations before a battle within the Galactic Civil War. From gathering forces to training exercises, this is your chance to show off your artistic talents before an entire galaxy!

Winners will get their paintings added as new in-game structure painting schematics available to all players -- for a limited time. Submit your image to us and we'll select the finalists, then present them to the community for a vote. The images with the most votes will be added to the game as new painting schematic.

WHEN/WHERE:
The Galactic Call to Arms Fan Art contest is now underway and continues until Monday, June 8, 2009 at 10 a.m. Pacific time. Winners will be announced during this year's Fan Faire in Las Vegas, June 25-28, 2009.
