Anarchy Online: A Messasge regarding Shadowknowledge

You may or may not know it, but beyond level 200 in the Shadowlands expansion, you will not actually gain experience points - you will earn Shadowknowledge. Shadowknowledge is what will allow you to progress to level 220. Here's a message from Gaute regarding Shadowknowledge:

Once you reach 200 you can no longer change sides. This will become appearent when you get your first kill with Shadowlands enabled! You will ONLY gain SK depending on your faction. Your maximum faction is 50000 points (Ally). If you have a lower fraction, you will only get a corresponding fraction of Shadowknowledge. This "main" faction is defined by your side, in this way: "Neutral - Guardian of Shadow", "Omni-Tek - Unredeemed", "Clan - Redeemed".

The result of this is that you will not gain SOLID hadowknowledge until you have maxed your faction. The average hadowknowledge will range from 1 point to maybe 200 points. (All other experience rules as sides, rings, buffs etc apply). A Shadowland native character would most likely have a maximum faction to his / her side and would not experience this "slow growth". My advice to you level 200'es: increase your faction and get into Adonis before having any real chance of gaining Shadowknowledge.
