The Fallen Earth team has decided to move the launch date for the upcoming post-apocalyptic MMO to September 15, 2009, to continue work on server and client optimizations as well as graphic improvements.

"We've seen a lot of new beta testers online recently and we've gotten insight into things that need to be tweaked," said Colin Dwan, project manager for Fallen Earth. "Our primary concern is making sure game play experience is as smooth as possible on launch day."

Planned optimizations and graphic improvements on Fallen Earth will not delay current testers in the Open Beta experience. Fans who have pre-ordered the game will be able to gain early access to the game beginning September 9. Seems like Fallen Earth is getting to a rocky launch already. We'll keep you updated on the latest.
