City Of Heroes: A Darker, Grittier X-Men Cometh

October 10th, 2003, is approaching quickly, but not quickly enough for X-Men fans awaiting the controversial new series, NYX. The premise is simple and intriguing. What happens to the young mutants whom Xavier doesn't bring into the fold of the Institute?

In spite of the focal shift away from the mutant dream team, NYX is not totally severed from the comic we all know and love. By December, we will all have been introduced to a "very close blood relative" of a current X-Man, changing the face of the Marvel Universe forever.
