Dawntide Beta 2 Beginning

For those interested in beta testing a new 'sandbox' title, Dawntide is the game for you. Working As Intended, developers of Dawntide, have announced beta phase 2. Grab the details below:

Dawntide Beta 1 is now drawing to a close and we're looking to enter into Beta phase 2 starting October 8th. During phase 2 we will be rolling out many of the world building features that makes Dawntide unique, such as Settling, Conquest and Sailing.

For those of you who were accepted into Beta 1, your accounts will continue to work in Beta 2, so make sure to come take a look at the new features. Also, if you didn't already, get a forums account so you can participate in the latest discussions with developers and fans.

Beta 1 was pretty exciting and we got a lot of good feedback from you guys. If you dropped out at some point during the beta and stopped keeping up, here's a quick recap of what we did and have been preparing for the Beta 2
launch:

• Tested the interface, graphics, user friendliness and core gameplay
• Collected large amounts of input and made many user-requested tweaks
• Added tooltips, tutorial quests and a manual.
• Overhauled interface based on input
• Rolled out a revised combat system
• Optimized game performance
• Tripled the amount of content.
• Fixed hundreds of bugs
