The first ever newsletter for Torchlight, an action MMO in development at Runic Games, has hit mailboxes around the globe. Find out what's coming down the pike as the October 27th launch date approaches!

Welcome Gentle Reader - wait, that's just too Miss Manners: Gentle Gamer? Gnarly Gamer? Grungy Gamer? Gamerheads? Runic Reader? Torchlighter?!

Whatever you name yourselves, welcome to the first ever newsletter. We are seriously glad you took the time to sign up.

I know it's been a long time between signing up and getting the goods, but all our spare time has been going to putting content in the game and making each iteration better, so if anyone trotted up to us to say "Hey, why don't you write an article for a weekly newsletter?" they would have been hit upside the head with a leftover pizza box.

As we get close to launch on the 27th though (now on Steam! Woot!) this seems like the perfect time to reach out, say hi, and thank you for bearing with us as we put a little love in your inbox (that's what she said.)
