LOCATION (TRI-FP) - After a long battle between TRI pilots and conflux forces at Quantar Core station last night, the station was totally disconnected from the jumpgate network by gate infestations. Although three of the infestations were cleared relatively quickly by the team of pilots defending the station, the gate to Omni IV was still unusable this morning, despite having over 100 missiles hit it.
"One of the Infestations, the one around Omni IV, also exhibited unusual resistance to nuclear weapons. Over 100 were launched at it after the others were destroyed, and at the time of this log it still shows no sign of crumbling. This worries as well as confuses me, and many of the other pilots are shared similar reactions." commented pilot delphince this morning. "Keep up the good fight pilots, and good work on sending those flux back to where they came from, in pieces."

Data retrieved from station logs indicates that the attack was lead by several C-17S "Lamprey" class sentient conflux.
