HanbitSoft Ressurecting Hellgate: London

Korean publisher HanbitSoft announced their plans to relaunch Hellgate: London in North America, Europe and Japan after acquiring the publishing rights from Namco Bandai Games America.

Following 2008's relaunch of the troubled MMO in Korea with a free-to-play model, HanbitSoft continued expanding Hellgate with new features and upgrades which will include the release of Hellgate: Tokyo in March, 2010.

HanbitSoft CEO Kee-Young Kim said that "We would like to thank Namco Bandai Games America for allowing us to acquire the Hellgate publishing rights and are thrilled to have eager gamers worldwide return and enjoy the franchise, Hellgate: Resurrection is heading towards success in Korea such that we decided to push ahead with launching the game overseas next year. We will do our best to get the game to the fans as soon as possible."

A Western release date for Hellgate was not announced yet, but we'll keep you updated as soon as it's revealed!
