Star Wars Galaxies: Act 1 Data Disks and Act 2 updates

Hello all.

A number of people have been wondering about the Data Disks that they have been collecting, trading and selling from Cries of Alderaan Act 1 and what will happen to them once the act is over. Currently the plan is to simply stop the drops. Even after the act is over you should be able to turn in disks that you have already collected.

The next obvious question is "When will this happen?" An excellent question. Currently Act 2 is waiting for the current publish to be pushed to the Test Center server for live testing. Reality being what it is, we have to wait for everything to be finished before we can push it. "When will this happen?" you ask again. We are planning on pushing to test sometime tonight or tomorrow. From there it depends on how well the entire publish does on test.

Hmm.. so these disks could be worth a lot in the upcoming months.. looks like ill save mine!
