Open Beta
We are very glad to announce that starting today, February 1st, Mortal Online moves to the next phase of development and opens it's doors to the public.
It's been a rough few months in closed beta (as we expected) but we're happy how far we have come.
Now it is time to iron out the last bugs and fine tune the systems, both ingame and server-side.
Keep in mind that this is not a promotional beta as gamers have gotten used to in the last couple of years. We are taking this step to test our systems on a larger scale. Don't expect this to be a final game version or a preview.
New Game Trailer
In the last couple of weeks we have been producing a new trailer too. It will be released in different parts. Part I is up on the website now. You don't want to miss this. The trailer was produced with the current build of the game, nothing has been "polished". Thanks to all the players who participated in it's production.
Open Beta Discount
During open beta we are offering all new pre-order customers a 5 Euro discount on the digital download version of Mortal Online.
Upcoming Patch
During open beta we will introduce a content patch. This patch will focus on major combat tweaks and balancing. It will also include the addition of resource nodes and creatures in barren areas. Of course there's always something hidden for you guys to find!
Beta Forums
Together with opening the game server for the open beta, new players will now also be able to post in the beta forums and the bug tracker. Please keep in mind that the beta forums should be used for issues and questions directly related to beta only.
Get involved in the open beta by heading to the official open beta page at the official Mortal Online site.
