Asherons Call: Ken Troop Speaks Up About Bronze Weapons

Breaking the "we don't have time to respond" rule, Ken Troop adressed several of the issues this patch including the new status of bronze weapons:

[i]Bronze Weapons. Internally, we discussed this as a temporary condition for one month. However, there was still sufficient debate on the subject so that the "temporary" part wasn't mentioned in the Developer Notes. However, ideally what we would be able to do is allow people to hook no-drop/no-give items. We will try to have that happen for June or July, and our answers to that will influence the ultimate no-drop/no-give status for the Bronze Weapons.

That said, all of you who said that this is something we should have let you know about some time before patch day are absolutely right. We've tried to do a much better job at this, and we've mostly been successful. Today, we failed. Our apologies for that, and we will work hard to make sure no one has these items permanently exiled on an alternate character somewhere.
