Asherons Call: Asheron's Call Crashes on Windows95a?

According to this thread, ZelRiptha of Leafcull seems to have discovered a potentially serious issue which appears to make Asheron's Call unable to run on earlier copies of Windows95. Yes, I know, this is an older operating system, however, it still meets the System Requirements for AC.
