Star Wars Galaxies: Where's the beef?

Our old friend Sen Kirath of CrashGroundZero is back, bringing with him another edition of Wrong End of a Blaster, which asks the ever-present question about Star Wars Galaxies:

I can totally appreciate that it takes a couple of months to ramp up the story. But seriously, the shadow wars were rocking AC1 a couple of months in, where is that here. The GCW is not going to cut it, because even if every MMORPG company out there has a problem understanding this, most people don't want to do PvP. We want...no, we NEED some real quests, some real objectives beyond collecting woolly hide to make couches and such. Dev's, please put the soul in this game that it should have. Please let the Force be with us...
