Asherons Call: The Battle Against the Statues Rages On

Earlier this afternoon, the following message was broadcast globally on Thistledown:

The statues in Al-Arqas and Samsur have been nullified and will threaten the citizens no more And now, raging over the demise of the Mannikin native Cast, the Effigy Statues have opened the portals to their domain. Those who dare enter shall be subject to their vengeance.[/blockquote]

While this is not the first such announcement we've seen, nor is it likely to be the last, I wanted to post this so that those players who aren't in game right now could get an idea of what's going on in Dereth.
