Why not celebrate St. Patrick's Day a little differently this year by entering the magical land of Travia in Outspark's new MMO Action-RPG, Erebus: Travia Reborn.
The first stage of Closed Beta for Erebus begins this Wednesday (March 17) at 3PM PST, and players accepted into the beta can begin downloading the client now.
During the first Closed Beta, the level cap will be set to 30, and players will be able to explore four maps, including the first major dungeon. The enchant system will be enabled, but players will only be allowed to upgrade items to +3. PvP and Arena battling will also be activated, but largescale combat (guild vs guild fighting as well as village conquering) is being saved for a later Beta.
Participants in the CBT are encouraged to report anything they find, and feedback from Closed Beta 1 will be used for Closed Beta 2, which will allow significantly more players into Erebus, with many more features enabled. If you want to get a key for Closed Beta 1 but missed out on the sign-ups at Outspark's site, you can still grab one from sites we've partnered with for distribution, including GameItems and MMO Hut. You can also sign up to take place in future Betas for Erebus by entering your email at the official Closed Beta site, which includes new information on the game.
Characters will be wiped after the Closed Beta ends, but we don't want our testers to go away empty handed. As a "thank you!" for participating in testing, players who reach level 10 in the CB will be rewarded with a special in-game item once Open Beta begins. What kind of item, you ask? Well, you'll just have to wait and see!
In the meantime, download the client, decide which class you want to play, and get ready to maul some goblins!
To celebrate the beginning of the open beta, WarCry will be featuring a hands on preview! Be sure to come by tomorrow to learn more!
