Jumpgate Evolution: US-Another coffee related incident

We have finally ascertained the nature of the incident that damaged the TRIR-MSD manufacturing center.

As far as we can tell the incident was caused by a few drops of coffee being spilt on the floor.

Shortly after the coffee was spilt, a cleaning droid was tasked to clean up the spill, however, the power supply on the droid malfunctioned. A repair droid was dispatched to fix the damaged cleaning droid. As the repair droid moved to intercept the cleaning droid, it came into contact with the spilt coffee, which caused the repair droid to veer off course slightly. The repair droid bumped into the coffee machine, and activated its brew cycle. As the coffee machine was left to brew, the constant heat finally cracked the carafe containing the freshly brewed (and slightly burnt) coffee. As this was a more serious spill that the initial few drops, several cleaning droids were dispatched to clean up the mess. Two of the cleaning droids bumped into each other, forcing one of them to fall unnoticed into the tertiary manufacturing mechanism. During the next self test diagnosis, the tertiary manufacturing mechanism was activated for a short period of time. Just long enough for the cleaning droid to be crushed, and flung into the ingredient hopper for the primary production cycle. As a production cycle was in progress, the addition to the ingredient hopper was automatically added into the current production run. The trace elements of plutonium and uranium in the droid power supply (now crushed) destabilized the production cycle, to the point where the PCE-5 that was nearing completion activated. The resulting fireball initiated several of the station's safety mechanisms, sealing off the manufacturing area, and starting fire suppression systems.

With the conclusion of the investigation, repairs have been authorized, and are underway. The current contract holder will be granted a two week extension, starting from whenever the center goes online once more.
